This painting is the culmination of several styles I've enjoyed exploring over the years starting with the beautiful patches of paint that I learned early on. Then I added my own kurbits styled flowers, and resin to the garden. I enjoyed using the "Queen of Wands" tarot card as inspiration. Someone pulled that card for me many years ago and it stuck with me as something that I should strive for, and I did. I made a choice, to leave preschool teaching, which the tarot card reader foresaw and really found my true self as an artist. That's why I used myself as a model with my car, but this painting could speak to anyone who is looking to step into their creative powers.
